I’ve been playing Rock Band 2 pretty furiously recently. So much so that it’s taken it’s toll on the equipment. I was playing so hard that I busted my bass pedal. So I went right out and bought a replacement Rock Band foot pedal. The one I got was a lot more study than the original one. It’s metal and I don’t think I’ll be breaking it any time soon.

I went if in search of a replacement pedal and I found a bunch of replacement foot pedals for sale here. I have a Playstation 2 at the moment but I’m thinking of upgrading to a PS3 or maybe getting an XBox 360 at Christmas so I wanted to make sure I bought one that was compatible with all of them.

Which is the best Rock Band Foot Pedal Replacement?

In the end I went with this foot pedal. It wasn’t the cheapest, but it looks the most sturdy and I certainly don’t want the problem reoccurring and have to buy yet another one. The great thing about it is that it looks like a real bass pedal. It’s compatible with the PS2 and Playstation 3 (as well as the Wii and the XBox 360). I have to say, despite the cost, I’m very happy with it. It feels great and works well.

I was quite tempted by this Rock Band foot pedal. The shape of it is just hilarious and the metal foot pedal looks very sturdy. It’s not so much a replacement as a reinforcement foot pedal - it fits on to the existing controller so it’s more of a fix for a broken bass pedal. If you’re looking to fix your Rock Band 2 bass pedal it’s ideal, but that’s not exactly what I wanted, so I went with a brand new Foot Pedal relpacement.

Rock Band Double Bass Pedal

I very nearly bought a Double Bass Pedal. It’s even more pricey but it does have to be the coolest thing ever. I very nearly went for it, but I think my talents only barely extend to a single pedal. I don’t think I could handle the double pedals. Having said that, if you’re hardcore about your gaming, it is the ultimate Rock Band replacement foot pedal.

I swear it’s improved my playing as well. I definitely seem to be getting further and more easily as well. The pedal has a really great feel to it. I think I’m going to end up playing Rock Band a lot more than I have been. Whether or not that’s a good idea, you can decide for yourself.

I’ve been enjoying playing the rock band drums so much I’ve thought about taking up the drums again. I played for about 4 years in my teens. I was in a couple of bands. It was a great laugh. I’d love to be able to do it again, but the drums isn’t really practical for me right now. Not where I’m living. Or in the flat I’m moving to for that matter.

I’ve been looking for somewhere new to live and I think I’ve finally found it.

It’s a cute little flat tucked away in a quiet area. It’s on the outskirts of time but it’s a pretty easy journey to the center. Now I’m getting old, it’s getting more important that I live in a nice area. Long gone are the days that I can put up with just anywhere. I need somewhere more quiet with a bit of a park nearby.

And there’s a bit more than a bit of a nice park, there’s a huge park there which includes a golf course, lake and wooded area. It’s pretty much perfect.

The flat itself is a little small but nice enough. It’s just been fitted up so everything is new. And the kitchen looks great. The guy who was doing it up, the son of the owners, is a kitchen fitter by trade. So the kitchen is obviously great. Some of the furniture in there is a bit less high spec than I’d like. But it would definitely do me for a while.

The one issue is broadband access. Not only is there no broadband there, but there’s not even a phone line. It shouldn’t be a problem to sort it out though. Just have to throw a bit more money at the problem. So long as it’s sorted out before I move in, there shouldn’t be a problem.

Now’s the worst part of the whole process - dealing with the agents. It’s ridiculous the things they charge for. The processing fees are massively exaggerated. And I know there’s no way I’m going to see my holding fee again. It’s just the sort of thing you have to grit your teeth and get over I guess.
